The fictional Ann Arbor Subway System offered convenient transportation to mid-century shoppers and commuters traveling between Ann Arbor and Ypsilanti (in only 18 minutes!) with runs between the two cities every half hour, the Ann Arbor-to-Ypsilanti Subway was as popular as it was frequent. Of course, it’s all just a faux-stalgic look at the past from the imagination of artist Chris Bidlack.
